The redesign and management of Tourism WA’s new marketing and information centrepiece has been awarded to Permeance, a WA born and bred IT consultancy.
“It’s not everyday you get to relaunch such an iconic brand and we are delighted”, said Shayne Tanner, Director of New Business, Permeance.
“The win is significant in Permeance’s eyes as this website is instrumental in the marketing of tourism as a critical component of Western Australia’s economy”.
The department’s stated requirement was for ‘best-in-class’ user experience, minimalist and immersive design, intuitive user-centric functionality and compelling, world-class look and feel.
“This requisite aligned perfectly with Permeance’s fundamental design ethos, full-stack capability and outstanding track record in this arena”, he said.
“Our proposal was underpinned by the following pillars:
- Initiative – We researched the global digital tourism market to obtain a deeper knowledge base.
- User experience – Our human-centric design ethos humanises user experience.
- Innovation – For example. we took a compliance issue, Data use and Data Transparency and aligned it to the Trust relationship between customer and vendor and made it a CX thing.”
